UNIWORK’s 2^nd Training Module - “Tools for Engagement through Career Centres” – was hosted by Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University and took place from March 15^th to 17^th in the Burabay region of Kazakhstan. In total there were 21 participants present: trainers from the EU partners, and staff from the HEI partner Career Centres in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Following an official inauguration by Anuarbek Kakabayev, Head of the European Programmes Department at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, the EU trainers Rene Wenzel from FH Joanneum (Austria) and Angel De Silva from the University of Alicante (Spain) launched into a series of lectures and practical exercises, which were supplemented with a case study by Mashokhida Azimova from Khujand Polytechnical Institute of Tajik Technical University (Tajikistan). The objective of this second Training Module was to reinforce the capacities of the Career Centre staff so they would have a better understanding of:

1. The use of IT tools for Career Centres, particularly websites, web-services (including online courses using the Moodle platform) and databases.
2. Strategy Analysis tools.
3. Market Research tools
4. Job Fairs and Matchmaking events.

The Training Module also included a visit to Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University and its newly re-branded Career Centre.
