The International Conference “Career Centres: Bridging the gap between universities and the labour market to improve graduates’ employability” brought together experts and participants from Higher Education Institutions, Ministries of Education, Chambers of Commerce and the business sector to discuss the role of HEIs and their Career Centres in improving graduates’ employability and entrepreneurial skills and serving as a bridge to the main actors in the labour market.
In the framework of the Regional Forum an Enterprising Ideas Competition was organised, with participants including students from universities in all 5 countries in Central Asia, each a winner of a similar competition in their own university.

UNIWORK and the "Regional Forum on Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship" which took place in Bukhara (Uzbekistan) on March 10th and 11th, 2016, were presented in the Press in Kokshtau (Kazakhstan). Partners from KokSU talk about the activities carried out in the framework of UNIWORK and results achievd with the support of the project concerning the problem of students employability in the region.

On May 25, 2016 a Monitoring Visit monitoring of Tempus project UNIWORK “Strengthening Career Centers in Central Asia Higher Education Institutions to empower graduates in obtaining and creating quality employment” took place at the Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics with Mrs. Anne Spangemacher, representative of EACEA, and Mrs. Gulnara Chokusheva, National Coordinator ERASMUS + office in Kyrgyzstan.

Being part of an international project asks for international and intercultural exchange. This exchange happened during the UNIWORK study visit from the 10th until the 19th of November 2015 in Graz/Austria.
During the UNIWORK study visit Ms. Gaini Mulkhanova (NEU), Mr. Dilshod Zaynidinov (TUT), Mr. Oraz Charyyev (TSITC) and Mr. Adizov Bakhityor (BSU) got to know FH JOANNEUM – University of Applied Sciences in Graz (Austria) and the student and career centered activities undertaken at the university.
Central Asia Career Centre staff undertook a two week Practical Placement at The University of Sheffield as a part of the activities of Tempus project UNIWORK. The objective of this placement was to consolidate the knowledge gained by the partners during the UNIWORK training modules organised during the past year. The placement took place from 3rd November – 12th November 2015; the first week was hosted by the University of Sheffield Enterprise team and the second by the Careers department.
In order to consolidate the knowledge acquired during the UNIWORK Training Modules, and to gain more practical experience, a staff member from each Central Asian partner Career Centre has participated in a two-week practical placement in one of the Career Centres from the EU partners.
